I have lived in Dublin, Ireland all my life and for as long as I can remember I have always enjoyed Art. I also spend a majority of the year in Wicklow and it is here on the deck, that many of my works are painted. For my paintings I take inspiration from the local Dublin coast line as well as alot of influence from both Wicklow and Canada. I have always admired Monet from the Impressionist period, but there are many other artists whom I admire greatly such as Jerry Marjorham, Kenneth Webb, Amie Antonia to name but a few. When it comes to describing my own true style all I will say is that it is as you see it. It is lively, vibrant, colourful, full of texture and above all passion.

Many of my works are produced equally between Wicklow and Dublin. When I paint in Wicklow it is always outdoors which is pure heaven and in Dublin I have set up a small but functional studio in my home where amongst a wonderful family life I slip away and paint.  I have a selection for viewing on www.newirishart.com and www.thestreetgallery.com/louiseoneill. I also take Commissions so please do not hesitate to contact me with a view to discussing what you would like.

Over the last number of years I have also donated paintings to various charities and voluntary organisations.
